$231,033 | November Net Worth Update

Hey everyone!

I’m back this month to share a net worth update with you guys.

Last month was the first month since beginning this monthly series where my net worth actually decreased from one month to the next. However, this month I’ve seen the biggest monthly increase in net worth month over month since writing about it. It’s funny how that works isn’t it?

There are two main factors in the increase in net worth this month. Simply put, the stock market and cryptocurrencies are near all-time highs. My calculated risk in putting ~10-15% of my investable investments in cryptocurrency has paid off this month.

I will continue to allocate a similar percentage of my portfolio to crypto. It’s going to make my net worth a bit more volatile, but if it continues to increase in price, it’s going to have an outsized impact on my portfolio.

Here’s the history of my portfolio since I began tracking.

November 2021 Net Worth Update: $231,033 (+$23,347)

  • Cash: $18,916.69 (+$901.10)
    • Checking Account: $4,252.84
    • High-Yield Savings: $14,723.85
  • Investments: $178,088.41 (+$13,702.56)
    • Work 401(k): $96,205.47
    • Roth IRA: $56,636.23
    • HSA: $21,736.02
    • Taxable Brokerage Accounts: $3,510.69
  • Cryptocurrency: $34,368.19 (+$8,735.10)
    • Bitcoin: $18,386.65
    • Ethereum: $15,939.22
    • Dogecoin, Litecoin, Uniswap + Chainlink: $42.32
  • Debt: -$339.59
    Credit Card Debt: $339.59

My 0% interest debt is down and planned to be gone by next month. Crypto holdings are up big and the market has pushed up my investment value to close to $200k. If you combine my investments and crypto I officially have over $200k in investable assets. Not bad for somebody who just turned 27.

How has your guys’ net worth behaved over the last month? Hopefully you are in the market and receiving the same love I am. Until next time, happy investing!
