Hey guys,
I’ve got another net worth update for you. If you’re interested in my previous net worth posts, I’ve shared them below:

One thing to note about the graph – it may look a little different this month. I accidentally entered in “$120,000” manually for my crypto balance instead of $12,000. I couldn’t figure out how to fix the skewed net worth graph, so I had to delete the account history and re-enter in my balance to fix it. This is why you see a $12k net worth spike in mid June. Oops!
July 2021 Net Worth: $197,184 (+$6,379)
- Cash: $17,821.39 (+$504.80)
- Checking Account: $5,036.77
- High-Yield Savings: $12,784.62
- Investments: $167,173.61 (+$4,717.48)
- Work 401(k): $86,186.80
- Roth IRA: $52,799.25
- HSA: $20,160.99
- Taxable Brokerage Accounts: $8,026.57
- Cryptocurrency: $12,040.79 (+$857.77)
- Bitcoin: $10,122.55
- Ethereum: $1,886.53
- Dogecoin, Litecoin, Uniswap + Chainlink: $31.71
- Debt: $0
The Cryptocurrency gain is a bit misleading, I probably put another $1k of capital into crypto this month, but I’m only up about $858 total from last month. However, I can claim that I bought bitcoin close to the bottom of its dip this month – I managed to snag about $300 worth under a 30k bitcoin price!

Me and my fiance’s wedding is coming up in August, and we still have a lot of the costs to pay for including the venue, a lot of the honeymoon cost (we’re likely going to use points for some) and other random wedding expenses. We’ve paid a lot in wedding costs this month though, and our net worth is still going up so there’s definitely a chance it will continue to do so even though our short-term costs are increasing!
Hopefully this inspires you guys to keep saving and investing. If you’re invested in the market hopefully you’ve been benefitting from the rise in the stock market. Regardless, up or down I will be staying invested for many years to come.
Until next time!
