The BEST app to scan receipts | Amazon Shopper Panel

If you’ve been following the side hustle portion of my blog, you know that I made a post promoting the receipt apps that I use to make a little extra money – and how much money I expect to make from them each year. I stumbled on another receipt scanning app that I had no clue existed that packs a HUGE punch in comparison to the others.

What is the app? It’s called Amazon Shopper Panel. There is a caveat that In want to be clear about – the app says that you must enter a “wait list” before being accepted. I applied for the app a few days ago and logged in using my Amazon Prime account, and got accepted to the program the next day – so I’m not sure what that means for others, but it was pretty easy for me. One cool feature about the app, is you can also choose to donate your $10 reward for uploading ten receipts.

The payout ratio is much better than all of the other apps available – a $10 reward in the form of an Amazon gift card for 10 receipt uploads is the equivalent of $1 per receipt, much higher than the payout ratio in the cents range for other apps. If you add up the payout you can get from the Amazon Shopper Panel app with the money available from all of the other apps in the gauntlet, you can easily earn $1-$1.50 per receipt upload. Not much on its own, but that adds up over time. Here’s what my account looks like after a few days of having it.

Also, getting the maximum uploads every month for the entire year basically pays for your Amazon Prime membership of $119. Why not do it?
